The Radical Hospitality of the Season

Sunday Service – 10:00 am

Radical Hospitality is the opposite of “no room at the inn.” It is a concept, a spiritual practice, and a movement of inclusion which seems to come naturally during the holidays and needs be extended year around. During this service, we will celebrate it and reflect on ways to expand it.

~ Rev. Paula Maiorano

On this Quiet Eve of Love, Joy, and Peace

Christmas Eve – 7:00 pm

On this quiet eve of love, joy, and peace, we gather with family and friends to honor Jesus, light candles of the season, celebrate life’s most precious gifts and the miracle that is birth. Truly a most holy night.

~ Karen Barker & Rev. Paula Maiorano

Dessert Reception

Christmas Eve – 8:00 pm

You’re Invited…

Fellowship Committee is reviving a long-time tradition at UUFN—the Christmas Eve Dessert Reception. Join us in Fahs Hall for the opportunity to share with friends and newcomers alike and to extend the special feeling the candlelit Christmas Eve service always brings.

Please plan to come. If you can bring a dessert to add to the festivities, that would be wonderful. But even if you don’t bring a dessert, please do plan to spend a little extra time in fellowship following the service.

There are no services or events planned at UUFN for Christmas Day. Enjoy this holy time being present with your family and friends.

A Note from the Religious Education Dept:

There will be no regular RE Classes on the last two Sundays of the month, Christmas Eve Day and New Year’s Eve Day.

Instead, all the RE Children will gather in Fahs Hall to celebrate Kwanzaa. There will be songs, dance, crafts, food and more as we learn about this African American holiday which runs from December 26 – Jan 1.
