With at least one state announcing a Christian theocratic approach, anathema to the pluralistic values of our UU religion, this service focuses on rising to the challenge that a theocracy poses with an ability to nourish and clearly articulate our own spirituality. During service, Rev. Daiman (Bill) McCracken will share some of the challenges he faced in the early years becoming a Buddhist and pursuing ordination as a Zen priest.
