Pandemic or no pandemic, we humans thrive when we play– whether alone or with others. We will examine different ways to play and try out some zoom play for two ends–to grow our personal humanity and to evolve the human community. Play on for humanity!
Bio – Mr. Bittner was a Roman Catholic Priest in Philadelphia before changing his career and obtaining his license in psychology.
For many years he had a private practice in individual, group and family therapy while serving in management and executive positions in community mental health programs.
In Delaware he was a quality improvement officer for statewide human services programs.
He now facilitates a Humanism Study Group at UUSD and is the contact person for the Southern Delaware chapter of the American Humanist Association. He sings in the UUSD choir and in the Camp Rehoboth Chorus. He continues to provide coaching in emotional regulation based on the findings of neuroscience. He is also a gardener.
He is married to Bob Life, a retired MCC minister, and lives in Milford, DE.
